Summary
In the month of February, God is showing up as the God of more than enough. He is releasing His abundance into areas of struggle and chaos and healing poverty mindsets in the process. He is bringing truth and hidden things into the light. He is releasing peace in the middle of chaos and restoring our hearts back to intimacy with Him. More Than Enough
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10.10

A poverty mindset is a mindset that is in contradiction to abundance. It can be defined as a belief that there is not enough blessing to  go around.  This belief often causes us to “make do” and sacrifice what’s really best because we believe there is not enough or believe that something isn’t  available to us. If you’ve ever felt like there was not enough ________________ (money, time, blessings, etc.) for you, then this belief could be rooted in  a poverty mindset.  If you grew up in a household where money was tight, scarcity thinking can easily become second nature. This mindset can be challenging to break free from.  The truth of the matter is this: you are the child of the Most High God and He has every good thing in store for you.  There is more than enough for you to be blessed and to take part in the abundant life.  God never intended for His children to just scrape by. Rather He invites us to trust Him to provide for our every need and even the desires of our heart.

A poverty mindset is a trap. When we become trapped in this way of thinking, we don’t leave room for God’s best.  Jesus came so that we may enjoy abundant life (John 10.10), but sometimes we have to let go of our own ideas in order to allow God to bring His solutions and His best into our lives.  Perhaps you are in a job, a relationship, or even a church that is fine, but you’re not thriving.  You want things to be different, but you don’t see another way.  It could even be what you’ve always known.  Sometimes we get in the way of what God wants to do in our lives.  It’s time to allow Him to move!

God is awakening the fullness of what He’s placed inside of you. Monotony and mediocrity are not where He’s taking you.  In order to step into the abundance He has for you, you must let go of poverty thinking and step out in faith. If you’ve resigned yourself to a belief: “this is just the way it is,” then you won’t be able to see what God wants to bring you. Let go of poverty thinking.

This word is for you if you have felt trapped and like you can’t see a way out.  You know that because of God’s goodness there has to be another way, but you don’t know what it is.  Or you may know what you wish would happen, but have no idea how it could ever happen.  If you don’t know a way out of your current situation, ask God to show you what He has for you regarding the specific situation.  If you do know what He’s placed in your heart, but you don’t know how to get there;  spend time with Him asking Him to show you what faith looks like in your situation.  What is your path forward?

Into the Light
“Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
Ephesians 5.11

There is a Great Awakening happening right now among people all over the world.  Corruption and evil agendas are being exposed on many levels.  Exposure is coming to churches, governments, corporations, education systems, and the health industry.  Anything that is working against or harming God’s people will be exposed.  This includes child/sex trafficking, abusive leaders, corrupt pastors, and businesses and organizations that have an agenda to harm.  Many will push against this revelation because it is quite uncomfortable and even jarring to have believed or trusted a person/organization only to find out that they are corrupt and have deceived many.  Many will experience cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance happens when what you are hearing goes against everything you have believed and so you struggle to accept this new truth.  Do your own research to discover if what you’re hearing is true.  Our God is a god of Truth, and the truth is coming out.

Discernment, wisdom and grace are available to those that seek Him during this process.  Ask God to show you if you are being deceived.  Do not discount something simply because you don’t want to believe it.  It is the time to ask questions, pursue truth, and research! Throughout scripture, God continually speaks about how He will uphold the righteous while the evil come to ruin. These themes are especially prevalent in Psalms and Proverbs and are relevant to us today.  Just because we weren’t able to see the evil at work doesn’t mean it hasn’t been operating behind the scenes.  The enemy is a great deceiver. Take the time you need to process what begins to be exposed, process it with the Lord and ask Him if this is the truth.  Jesus himself promises us in John 16.13, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” We are God’s children and He will lead us if we make room for Him to do so. This shaking will be uncomfortable if you are unwilling to see or if we make things (or people) into sacred cows, refusing to see the truth.  The end will be glorious!

God is shining a light on the agendas and people that need to be exposed.  He’s tearing down the idols that people have created (even unknowingly) like blindly believing the government or their church leader without processing it with God or going back to Scripture.  Everything that’s not truly anchored in Jesus will be shaken.  He’s providing grace for anyone that seeks the truth.  Revival will come out of this shift and this shaking.  Once the darkness is exposed it will be easier to see people’s true allegiance.  This word is for those that have been unsettled by things they are hearing, they are troubled by the current narrative.  They are asking questions and seeking truth but they feel a little paralyzed by being afraid of what they might uncover.  This word is also for those that have been pursuing and speaking truth.  They’ve been labeled as conspiracy theorists, activists or extremists simply for speaking the truth (especially when it’s unpopular).

Keep speaking!  The truth will come out!  It is time!! Were they loyal to a person,  pastor,  government, or something they believed to be true or to Jesus?  What does it cost them if they were wrong? There is a dividing line coming and you will have to choose a side.  Good vs. Evil.  It may not be as easy as you think.  Prepare now and get right with God.  It is time to lay down any loyalties you may have other than to Jesus.  Remove from the pedestal anyone or anything you may have elevated over truth.  The shaking will cause anything to crumble that’s not anchored in truth.

Perfect Storm
“Be still and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46.10

Many right now are feeling overwhelmed.  It feels like there has been one thing after another coming against you: illness, death, job loss, car trouble, unexpected financial needs, need to move, frustration, things not moving like they are supposed to due to complications, setbacks and delays.  It feels hard, frustrating,  and unsettling. Many are weary and exhausted; feeling disconnected from God; and in need of a miracle.  During times like this (and especially in our fast paced lives), it can be easy to fill up our precious time with things that feel urgent and important, while leaving out THE most important-time with God.  It’s when things feel so crazy and out of control that we need to PRIORITIZE time with our heavenly Father.

In essence, many are coming to the end of themselves.  But that is a beautiful place to be as it makes room for God to move.  We can’t do it all ourselves, but sometimes we lose sight of that fact.  Our dependence on self makes us less dependent on God.  In countless passages throughout Scripture, God tells us that He will take care of us if we put our faith, and hope and trust in Him.  Do we really believe that?

God is using circumstances to shape our beliefs.  He is calling us higher--to step out of fear and the murmur of discontent, frustration and helplessness around us and remember who He created us to be.  We are sovereign beings, created as the children of God and we’ve been given dominion over all the earth.  We are not to be shaped by culture, but rather to be shaped by knowing the true and living God--to SHAPE culture. This word is for those that have felt lost, frustrated, disillusioned, distant from God, and even hopeless.  This is a line in the sand moment.  You can choose to cross over into victory and partnering with God’s plans or stay in fear and disillusionment. Choose to put God first, especially when it feels like you don’t have the time.  If you are feeling overwhelmed, make it a priority to carve out time to spend in His presence.  Stop doing and start being.  Enjoy Him.  This time is less about checking your “quiet time” or Bible reading off a list, and more about being transformed by time spent in His presence.

Imminent Breakthrough
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
James 1.17

Many feel like they are being pummeled  right now.  It’s one thing after another.  Car troubles, home repairs, health issues, sickness, and even grief of losing someone you love.  It is taking a toll, and they need things to shift.  Sometimes when our own beliefs are not aligned with God’s purposes it can actually block our breakthrough.  We can even have a subconscious belief that God can’t (or won’t) move in a certain situation.  Or perhaps our experience in that situation is shaping our belief about what God will do.  We haven’t seen Him heal before so we believe He won’t, etc.  When this is the case, testimonies are critically important.  If you are seeking healing, feed yourself on testimonies of healing.  If you’re seeking to be married, surround yourself with those who have found love in surprising ways. If you’re seeking divine provision, surround yourself with those who have their own stories of breakthrough.

God is inviting us to align our beliefs with the truth of God’s word.  He’s inviting us to shift our perspective to make room for Him to move.  This word is for people who are needing a situation in their life to be turned around.  Whatever area it is that  you’re needing breakthrough in, take a moment to ask God to show you His best in that situation. Actively align your beliefs to His.

Visualize what breakthrough  would look like for you. Try a prophetic activation (e.g. carrying around a card that says “debts paid in full!” or “I am healed!”). And then speak about the situation as if the miracle had already taken place.  Make it personal and meditate on what He showed you.

At The Crowning Jewels, it's our desire and our mission to bring encouragement, to build others up, and to bring comfort to people’s lives (1 Corinthians 14.3). Each month our founder, Anne, asks the Lord what He’s doing in the coming month and for any words of encouragement He might have for His people. We believe that prophetic words need to be encouraging and edifying. Moreover, with a corporate prophetic word, not all words are applicable to all people. If our words bless you, please take hold of them and apply them in your own life. If it’s not specific to you, please pass it on to someone else who might be blessed.

As always, the prophetic is a free gift from heaven and will always be something we freely share. As a prophetic business, it’s our mission to bring encouragement and edification to people through the free gift of prophecy, with our product being jewelry.

DECLARATIONS

We at The Crowning Jewels believe in the absolute, transformational power of declarations. We know that truth comes by hearing (Romans 10.17), and speaking truth is an active way for us to renew our minds (Romans 12.2). We invite you to partner with what God is doing and say these declarations for the remainder of the month. We would love to hear what God does! Please email us your testimony at tellyourstory@thecrowningjewels.com.
